The Naval Criminal Investigative Service Association proudly celebrates the 101st birthday of Roy Mosteller, the oldest retired NCIS Special Agent and a treasured part of our Association’s history.

Roy’s extraordinary record of service began in 1943, when, at the age of 18, he was drafted into the United States Navy during World War II. His career would span wartime service, Naval Intelligence, the Naval Reserve, and the Naval Investigative Service, where he served with distinction until his retirement in 1975.

A founding member of the NCISA Southwest Chapter in San Diego, Roy helped build the Association’s early foundation and has remained an active and valued participant for decades.

We honor Roy Mosteller for his lifetime of service, leadership, patriotism, friendship, and enduring commitment to the NCIS family.
